Rescued! 7-- Saved from Misery: By Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer.

What Jesus did on the cross sufficed to obtain all of us the method to heaven.

==================================================.

The slightest smidgeon of sin will certainly banish you from the presence of God permanently. Martin Luther understood this and spent hours each day admitting his sins. But he ran into a dilemma:.

Sins, in order to be forgiven, had actually to be born in mind.

If sins aren’t born in mind, they can’t be confessed.

If sins aren’t admitted, they can’t be forgiven.

And what if there are things that God thinks about wicked but you aren’t aware that they are sins?

Luther eventually connected the dots, and in this message, Pastor Lutzer takes us through the passages in the book of Romans that led Martin Luther to saving faith in Jesus Christ– and the start of the Reformation.

Romans 1:17 -18, Romans 3:22 -24, Romans 4:3, Romans 6:23, Hebrews 10:10 -14.
